Vitamin В1 0.9 mg
Vitamin В2 1 mg
Vitamin В6 1.3 mg
Vitamin D3 2.5 mcg
Honey 1,200 mg
Acerola juice concentrate
Royal jelly 100 mg
First of all, most manufacturers use a different combination of these ingredients, if any at all, and second of all, they use desiccated (dry) royal jelly and honey, extracted from honeycombs by means of heating, which destroys its molecular structure and results in the loss of large numbers of useful substances.
Acerola juice concentrate
Acerola (Malphighia glabra, Barbados cherry, tropical cherry, Puerto Rican cherry) is the richest fruit in the world with regard to vitamin C content.
It grows in Western India, on Barbados, Jamaica, and Surinam, and is especially valued for its very high vitamin C content. In fact, acerola is not a real cherry, being more like citrus fruits. Its flesh is divided into segments. Ripe acerola fruit is of a dark red color, its diameter is less than two centimeters, and it is crunchy with a pungent flavor and a bitter-sweet after-taste. Acerola has traditionally been used in folk medicine as a means of strengthening immunity.
The fruit is gathered in a semi-ripe state, when the vitamin C content reaches the maximum. Up to 95% of the vitamin is extracted from acerola in the form of a liquid, which is then turned into a powder from which concentrate is made.
The lack of calcium in the body leads to hyperexcitability of the nervous system and fits of tetany. While adults still need around 0.8 - 1.2 grams of calcium, calcium is of particular importance for children whose bodies are actively growing and developing.
Royal Jelly is one of the most amazing products provided by bees. It is produced by bee glands and goes to feed the queen bee. It is no accident that from days of old both in the East and the West it has been called Royal Jelly, since, due to the peculiarities of getting it and the labor-intensiveness of keeping it, it could only be used by rich grandees, princes, and kings.
Royal Jelly’s value is due to its unique composition. It contains up to 14% proteins, 5.5% fats, 17% carbohydrates, and about 1% minerals. The way these ingredients balance has no counterparts in living nature. Thus, proteins are represented by 22 amino acids that are vital for the brain to work normally. The proteins in Royal Jelly are similar to the proteins in human blood plasma, which allows them to be assimilated practically without losses.
Royal Jelly contains the following:
Vitamins B1, B2, B5, B6, PP, B12, B9 (folic acid), H, and C;
major and minor nutrient elements;
growth promoting factors; and
Its unique composition and properties make royal jelly a biological stimulant which activates all life processes taking place in the human body. It has a toning effect, improves eyesight and memory, enhances body defenses, improves blood circulation, stimulates metabolic processes, and has antimicrobic properties.
This is a high-calorie dietary product that is a nectar which is partially digested in the crop of the honey bee (Apis mellifera).
Honey consists of:
mainly fructose and dextrose (up to 75%), which are completely assimilated by the human body;
vitamins В1, В2, В6, В9, Е, К, С, previtamin A - beta-carotene;
mineral components calcium, magnesium, iron, and phosphorous;
other bioactive substances necessary to blood formation and bone growth.
Honey is an exceedingly valuable dietary product that works especially beneficially on children. The amount of hemoglobin in the blood of children who get honey every day averages 24% more than in the blood of children who do not get honey. Regular use of honey increases the resistance of a child’s body to various infectious and catarrhal illnesses. Development of a child’s body proceeds more harmoniously if honey is a part of a child’s daily food ration.
The basic problem is extracting honey from honeycombs. If honeycombs are warmed up a little, the honey flows out of them easily, but at the same time a part of the useful substances that go into its composition is lost. That is why the Vision company’s experts use honey obtained by the method of centrifugal extraction. It allows preserving all of the honey’s useful properties.
Vitamins of Group В
Vitamin B1 is present in the most essential enzymes which regulate carbohydrate and energetic metabolism in the body. Energy is among the most essential needs of any living being. Not a single biological function can be performed in absolutely any organism without generating and consuming energy. Vitamin B1 improves the functioning of the muscles and the nervous system, and prevents such diseases as polyneuritis and beriberi. A person who lacks that Vitamin tends to get tired and lose his temper easily, and also suffer from insomnia.
Vitamin B2 has an impact on how cells growth and regenerate, plays a major role in regulating the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. Vitamin B2 is very important in keeping good eyesight. A person who lacks that Vitamin B2 experiences inflammation of the mucous membrane in his mouth, rhagades, poor twilight vision, “sandpaper” and tears in the eyes, autonomical dormancy or retardation of growth, and development of seborrheic dermatitis
Vitamin B6 facilitates metabolism of amino and fatty acids and stimulates hemogenesis (blood formation). The Vitamin is essential for the nervous system. An insufficiency of that Vitamin may lead to hyperirritability and psychoses, while dermatitis and other skin diseases are also likely to occur.
Vitamin D possesses the ability to regulate the phosphorous-calcium metabolism, ensures absorption of calcium and phosphorous in the intestines and reabsorption of calcium and phosphorous in the kidney tubules, and facilitates mineralization of bone tissue.
Vitamin D is necessary to the body’s growth and to support bones and teeth in a healthy condition, and it facilitates an increase in the body’s resistance and prevention of oncopathology. An insufficiency of vitamin D leads to breakdown of the phosphorous-calcium metabolism, a consequence of which is rickets - deformation of the bones as a result of the breakdown of the processes of their mineralization.
There is practically no vitamin D in plant products. Fish products - fish oil and cod liver - contain the largest amounts of the vitamin. Additional food sources of vitamin D are butter and eggs. Unfortunately, fish products are rarely used in children’s diets, and so bioactive food supplements are an important source of that vitamin.
